I Forget Which Two

Bob Constantine who is a famous writer once wrote, “I have four children. Two are adopted. I forget which two.”

When you adopt a child, that child has just come to your family in a different way–that’s all. Though you may have gone to another continent to find them, though you may have never set eyes on them before, they are yours, and you belong to them too.

Constantine demonstrates in this quote the reality of being an adoptive parent. Your children are your children. That’s it. You are a family.
