“I’m Glad We Took The Leap Of Faith” – Adopting 3 Kids From Haiti

Adoption can be a scary prospect. There are many variables you can’t control, and if you feel like adoption is what you’re supposed to be doing, making the final decision can often require a leap of faith.

Deborah and her husband were in a good place as parents. Their youngest was 13. They loved being the parents of teens. They were almost done with the active parenting phase of life.

But they felt like there was something more that they should be doing. Deborah had always had a heart for children growing up without families. So they looked toward Haiti, where they found their three youngest children.

Choosing to adopt from such a comfortable position was not an easy decision, says Deborah, but she’s grateful that they took the leap of faith it required.
