Creating A Village: How You Can Start An Adoption Support Group

Virtually every article about adoptive parenting will tell you that having a strong support system is a must for parents who have added to their family through adoption. They’ll often recommend finding support in a group designed just for adoptive parents. After all, there’s something key about feeling like you’re among people who really get what you’re going through. But what if you live in a community where there aren’t any groups like that already in operation? Or if you don’t feel like the groups that are available aren’t exactly what you’re looking for?
