Pregnant Women in California Find Shelter and Help

Pregnant women in California are finding a wonderful place of shelter, peace, and fortitude. The place is called Precious Life Shelter which is a homeless shelter for pregnant women in Los Alamitos, California.

One woman, Cordiella James, says that the shelter “saved her life.”

“When I entered the doors of the shelter, of course I was scared. I didn’t know what to expect, I didn’t even know I was going to stay there. I’ve just been very, very blessed. I just thank God and I thank the community for putting their part into Precious Life Shelter,” James states.

More than 3,000 homeless pregnant woman have come into the doors of the Precious Life Shelter since 1989. The shelter’s purpose is not only to help these women temporarily, but to help them become self-sufficient their whole lives.
