Looking For Their Forever Family: Meet Ray and Nichole

“People just don’t know that there are kids like me and Nichole out there who don’t have a family.”

Meet Nichole, 14, and Ray, 12, from Utah. These siblings are devoted to each other. They’ve provided support and stability for each other over the past three years that they’ve spent in foster care. “We were separated for a while and it was just torture, because I had no one to talk to,” says Ray. The foster care experience in general has been a discouraging one for them. “We switched houses over and over again,” he recalls.

For their Wednesday’s Child feature, Nichole and Ray spent some time on the Salt Lake Bees ballpark. Ray loves baseball, and Nichole was there to support him. Looking beautiful in her carefully applied makeup and styled hair, Nichole told the reporter that she didn’t hold out much hope for the two of them finding their forever family. “I honestly don’t think we’re going to find a home,” she says. “I just feel like it’s not in the cards for us.”

It is my opinion that there is a family out there that is missing these sweet kids. Is it yours? Share this post and help them find their forever family!
