Bakka is a sweet teenage boy who would love to be adopted into a family he can call his own. “I’ve never been in a real family. I’ve always been moved around so many times. And I can never find a real place to call home.”
Reporter Jeff Gionola took this young man to meet with his friend, musician Michael Allen Harrison. Though he was shy at first, the two were able to connect over music and were soon playing a duet.
Harrison’s wife was adopted herself, and during the feature she shared some of her own insights about what it’s like to be adopted.
Bakka is one of 100,000 kids in the US who are waiting to be adopted into a loving family. Is there room in your family for this budding musician?
