When Ben Sowards heard that his daughter was in tears and embarrassed after wetting her pants in her Kindergarten class, he knew just what to do: he splashed his pants with water and went to pick her up. Then the two of them covered up with a backpack and jacket and sidled quickly out of the school. Tears quickly turned to laughter.
But what Sowards wants to come from this story is the message that families are the most important part of our lives. And that another, more important thing happened to their family this week: they were able to adopt four children from foster care.
