After four painful years of infertility, Jessica Good was excited to be able to finally celebrate Mother’s Day as a mother.
She stood at the end of her church service happy and proud to be recognized as a mother. Then she saw a face that she knew all too well. “The face of a woman in pain, smiling and being fine. I knew that face well, because I had worn it myself, this day and many others, for four years.”
This message is to all the women who are mothers but do not have children – those who are struggling with infertility, those who have miscarried, those who have buried children, those who mother children who do not call them “mom,” those who chose to place their babies for adoption, and more.
Hers is a message of comfort and love this mother’s day. Read it here.
