A little boy who has experienced some challenging experiences early in life got the experience of a lifetime when he met Mickey and Minnie at a recent visit to Disneyland. The little boy, who is mostly deaf, was ecstatic when Minnie and Mickey began communicating with him in ASL: “It’s nice to meet you,” they signed. He was so touched, he hugged both the characters. “He is not a big hugger,” reported the boy’s caseworker, “So that hug for Minnie is something special.”
