We Need To Talk About Adoption

 

When a woman is experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, she has a three basic choices: 1) Parenting, 2) Abortion, and 3) Adoption. Each year in the United States, 1000 women choose abortion to every 17 women who choose adoption.

This is a problem, writes adoption advocate Elizabeth Kirk, who argues that women are not being provided with adequate education about adoption as a truly viable response to an unplanned pregnancy.
