Ignacio is a 16-year-old boy adopted from the Dando Amor orphanage in Quito, Ecuador by the Prince Family. He has begun to blend in with the family easily and has adapted quickly to the family routine.
“It’s like we were meant to be brothers,” reports his new brother.
“Having another brother at school and hanging out with me has been really fun,” says a sister.
When children age out of orphanages, they are generally faced with homelessness and a lifetime of extreme poverty. Adoption provides many more opportunities for them to succeed in life. Ignacio’s parents fought hard to bring him to the United States and provide him with these opportunities.
