I Adopted My Daughter From The Foster Care System. Here’s Why You Should Be A Part Of It, Too.

“I’m a foster parent. My daughter Rose was a foster kid. I’m here to tell you that everything you think you know about the foster care system is probably wrong.”

When Thor Jensen and his wife decided to grow their family through adoption, they knew right away that they would do it through the foster care system. They received a phone call less than a week after receiving their license and shortly thereafter were able to bring home their daughter. Though they are done adopting, they are not done fostering. And he thinks you should be involved too.
