Can Adoptive Moms Breastfeed?

Most people are familiar with the benefits of breastmilk for babies . . . fewer allergies, an increase in intelligence, fewer ear infections and respiratory illnesses, fewer gastrointestinal issues, and more.

So what’s an adoptive mom to do?

Alex is quick to point out that formula is a great way to feed your baby, so that may be the route you choose.

Alex herself has chosen to feed her baby breast milk that’s been donated by friends.

. . . and some moms induce lactation. (Yes, it is possible!)
