Birth Mother Love: Placing A Child Isn’t About Not Enough Love

One of the biggest misconceptions about birth mothers is that they didn’t love their child and that’s why they placed for adoption. However, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Birth mother love is about loving your child so much, that you want him or her to have more than what you can give right now.

“I don’t know anybody who has sacrificed more than a birth mother who’s given up a child,” said a birth grandma.

It’s the ultimate sacrifice to place a child with another family. It is not done because a woman does not love her child. It is done because she loves her child so much she is willing to sacrifice what she wants for what is best for her child. A birth mother demonstrates that she would be a great mother because of this sacrifice.
