The Big Tough Girl

One of the bravest things we can do in this life is face our biggest fears, press forward through our deepest heartaches, and trust that their is more to us than our failures. It is through the trial of adversity that we truly discover the depth of our faith and what we are made of.

A particular quote that has been transforming to me was said by Brene Brown: “When we deny the story, it defines us. When we own the story, we can write a brave new ending.”

Today I would like to introduce you to a hero of mine. A woman who is more than facing her story, she is quite literally owning it and writing the bravest new ending. She is fierce in her love, and powerful in her quest for joy. She is not only finding hope but she has built a bridge to hope for many who are in sorrow and despair.

When I found myself in an unplanned pregnancy at the age of 26 I thought that placing my child for ‪#‎Adoption‬ would be the hardest decision that I ever had to make.
