Adoptive mom Maya Brown-Zimmerman knows how excruciating the adoption wait can be. She writes, “We waited two years, two months, one week, and four days before we met the baby girl who would become our daughter.”
There’s really no way to know how long you’ll have to wait before you finally get to hold your child in your arms. It’s hard. There’s no way around that.
But, says Brown-Zimmerman “at the end of the day the wait is going to be as long as it’s going to be.”
